We gathered before sunrise at the Omni Amelia Island Resort to photograph a beautiful couple (who are clearly in love!), lounging by the pool and meandering onto the beach.

It was a perfect fall evening. Friends and family had gathered from all over the country to begin weekend of wedding celebrations, and the bride and groom wished to host them at one of Birmingham’s most iconic landmarks: The Alabama Theatre

The vision for Liz and Paul’s wedding was “Nancy Meyers Dinner Party”. That vision was made a reality with thoughtful details!

Photos in special places have an extra layer of sentimentality to them. The Northcutt family has rented the same beach house on 30A every summer for years – a tradition that’s become as certain for them as the sunrise. They wanted their most recent trip documented with photos together. 

Caroline and Hank had a beautifully classic Mountain Brook Baptist Church Wedding, followed by a lively reception at The Farrell in Homewood. Like most of the couples I have the joy of working with, their wedding day was centered around celebrating with their family and closest friends.
